Great party!  Outback will be there again this year as well as Camy's Pizza and Miller Genuine Draft. Local blues band, The Memphis Snake Doctors will rock the lot and there will be plenty of water to go around for everyone!
 
Great wicking shirts!  We will be offering the Dri-balance no cuff long sleeve shirts again this year.
 
Split Timers- Due to the wave start split timers will not be used this year. Times would not be accurate.

Other information:

 

The run will help kick off the Cooper-Young Festival which gears up at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The race will start and finish at the Trestle Art on Cooper at York next to Bluff City Sports. Afterwards there will be a post race party with free refreshments for participants.

 

1st and 2nd place awards in age groups 9 & Under and 10-14. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in all other age groups. Special awards to Overall, Masters and Overall Grand Masters male and female.

All Entrants Entitled to: Unique T-Shirts (long sleeve) to the first 1600 entrants.  These are Dri-Balance long sleeve T-shirts.

Free refreshments and entertainment.

Pre-registered entrants are eligible for door prizes including a classic bike from the Peddler Bicycle Shop.

J. Lee Taylor is the voice for the 2010 Cooper Young 4 Miler.  You may have heard his voice at other races and events such as the Memphis in May Triathlon or Turkey Trot 5K.  J. Lee is also the official voice of the St. Jude Memphis Marathon.  He will keep you informed of what’s happening and give directions to help you get around before, during and after the race.  Post race, J. Lee will announce and recognize racers in the awards ceremony
